CANARY ISLANDS

Canary Islands, Moroccowest of Spain, the Atlantic OceanLocated at is the name given to the archipelago. In terms of local administration, the Canary Islands were accepted as the "Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands" with a law that came into force on August 2, 1982. Canary Islands Tenerife, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, La Palma, La Gomera ve El HierroIt consists of 7 main islands,  , and several small islets.

Africa of the continent 100 km westThey are located at  . Although the Canary Islands are dependent on Spain in terms of administration, the Canary Islands are considered to be a part of the African continent in terms of geography.

A large number of tourists, especially from North-Western Europe, come to the islands, which used to be an important sea port and then an air transportation stop. In this case, tourism, island has caused the people to shift from agriculture to service sectors in tourism.

We, as the Olten Philharmonic Orchestra, were invited to the Opera Festival, which will take place in Fuerteventura, one of the Canary Islands, between 19-27/September/2022. We will share the same stages with world-famous artists at the classical music festival to be organized by Opera Fuerteventura in September 2022. As an orchestra that was invited to Turkey for the first time by such a big festival, we are extremely excited.
